Monday, 23 March 2009. When you live in a place that has a cold winter, like Lake Hawea, you need to collect firewood to keep you warm. Dad and I use a log splitter to break up the rings of wood so they can be stacked and dried ready for the winter. It's a pretty noisy job, but somebody's got to do it. Saturday, 21 March 2009. Jeepig around Lake Hawea. After lunch we drove through Dingleburn Station back towards Hawea. It was such a huge day that we all fell asleep in the back on the way home.

Monday, 28 July 2008. Mum found out that she had a dodgy knee. She needed to get half of it replaced. She had an operation called an Oxford partial knee replacement. Grandma and Aunty Kerri, Sarah and Joe came over from Australia to help look after us while mum recovered. Tuesday, 15 July 2008. We also like to go to Snow Farm to go sledding. We went with our cousin Adam. Sunday, 6 July 2008. Skiing lessons @ snowfarm. It is hard work with a bit of time spent on our bottoms in the snow.
