We had a successful raffle at the Anglers Rest Hotel in Brooklyn last Friday night with a small but tidy sum raised to go towards repairs and refits for the Spirit Of Brooklyn, our rescue vessel. Two lucky patrons went home with a pretty sweet meat tray. Last year (I imagine these are mostly weekends, and with larger numbers in warmer months).
