Cohen was a monkey for his first Halloween. My favorite part of the costume is the little banana sticking out of the side. He was a good sport about the costume and enjoyed showing it off to Great Grandpa Les, Grandma Hawkley, and Grandma and Grandpa Fisher. An Update of Sorts (you can thank Erin for her encouraging me to do this- haha! Look at the pictures! Oh yeah, and sorry no hospital pics.I don't know where those are right now. Yesterday, Brandan graduated from BSU with a degree in Mass Communications/Journalism. Here's the video in case you missed it. It was really loud in there so you have to listen carefully. We had a party that night, I made a bunch of cupcakes and a bunch of rolls to add to the spread of pulled pork and salads. It was good. Brandan and i at graduation-photo by Kelsey. What our deepest self craves is not mere enjoyment, but some supreme purpose that will enlist all our powers and will give unity and direction to our life. Which also means it was the debut of the El Toro Royal Blue Regiment (aka Marching Band). Featuring Jack on cymbals! Despite being a very WARM evening, Jack seemed very happy all suited up in his marching band uniform, enthusiastically clapping away on the cymbals. I did my duty with the video camera, recording most of Jack's performances. I had some batter...

http://richardsonfamilyraconteur.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 10, 2013. Have you ever seen a Drumline competition? Well, I hadn't, but I got the opportunity this past Saturday to see Jack and the El Toro Drumline compete in Aliso Viejo. I wasn't sure what to expect, walking in and seeing some of the costumes and hearing some of the other worldly soundtracks of the other competing schools. But when Jack and his crew took the floor it was clear they were the absolute best, and you can take that straight from me, his mother. Links to this post. This is t...
