Jp and Natalie Nielsen. Sunday, October 26, 2008. Four Bridges Half Marathon. About 2 monthe ago, Jp began training for Four Bridges Half Marathon race. Today he ran the 13 mile course that circled Lake Natoma in Folsom. It was a beautiful morning and he ran at a good steady pace. He finished just over 2 hours and said that he had a great time doing it. What an awsome accomplishment! Below are some pictures of the big event. Jp at the starting line. Jp and Natalie Nielsen. Saturday, December 5, 2009. Boat Camping at Sly Park:. We went camping with our friends Dan and Kimberly at the scenic Sly Park. This is the first time we have owned a vehicle strong enough to pull the boat uphill and experience boating in another lake. The truck is awsome! Sly Park is a small lake surrounded by pine trees and a couple campgrounds. We were lucky to have a campground with a view of the lake. A group picture by the campfire. Jp and Natalie Nielsen. Monday, April 28, 2008. Jp's parents came out for about 10 days to help with the house.and were they ever put to work! We sure do appreciate all they did for us. It was definitely a labor of love. We are so excited about the way everything is turning out.it is even better than we could have imagined! Jp and Natalie Nielsen. Saturday, March 27, 2010. Grand Canyon March 2010. The beginning of this month JP and I hiked the Grand Canyon with some good friends Dan Bingham. We back-packed down the South Kaibab. Trail, camped out in Bright Angel Campground, had a tasty steak dinner at Phantom Ranch and then took it easy going back out.we had our packs hauled out by mules and then we took our time going up the Bright Angel trail.
