Sunday, July 21, 2013. Thursday we stayed in Bentonville after work to play and have dinner. We went to the splash park for a bit to run around and cool off. After running around to expend a little energy the boys wanted a crepe. Ashby did his usual - cinnamon sugar; however, Hayes got adventurous with the blueberry with whipped cream. Sunday, November 10, 2013. This weekend we were pretty unexciting. Saturday Nick and I caught up on things around (or outside) the house. I cleaned a lot and FINALLY got caught up on laundry and Nick changed all my breaks. Fun stuff. But the kids did spend the evening with their cousins for movie night so that was a fun break on our uneventful day! I was pleasantly surprised that Blair Kate would lay so still for the movie, but she will do anything that Ashby does! Blair Kate road in style in the backpack.

Tuesday, May 27, 2014. Kindergarten Grad and Memorial Weekend. On Friday we went to Ashby's Kindergarten ceremony! It was really cute! And told us what they want to be when they grow up - Ashby said he wants to be a teacher when he grows up. Tuesday, December 9, 2014. We drove to Little Rock for Thanksgiving and stayed until Friday. My parents came with us to the children's museum. The kids love a children's museum it had been awhile since we last went. The boys had a blast with this bed of nails! I tried it, too and it was weird! This was the kids' favorite part. Monday, April 29, 2013. What We Cram Into A Weekend. Looking for roly polys. I love making the most of our weekends. Granted the days are getting longer so we can spend more time outside after work, but I think I'll always love relatively busy, though unstructured, weekends. I hate rushing from place to place, but I love staying busy. We couldn't pass on crepes! Thursday, September 18, 2014. Better late than never! In my defense, I took a TON of pictures on Ashby's birthday and then I went to look at them and I had the camera set on some crazy setting and all my pictures were over-exposed white blobs :(. I had to raid my mom's Facebook page for these! But hey, she did a great job! So over the Labor Day holiday, we celebrated Ashby's SEVENTH birthday! Monday, December 30, 2013. Sunday we hosted a small family party for Hayes and Blair Kate. For whatever reason, I got them each a cake. It worked out since Hayes requested an "animal strawberry" cake. And in true Blair Kate and Hayes fashion they placed their own candles (they look alike and are independent alike! Monday, February 3, 2014. It's hard to believe that in all these pictures it was nice enough to be outside without a heavy winter coat and in some we're in short sleeves! Because today we're on our 439th snow day. It's been a looooooong winter so far. Lots of snow, lots of cold weather. Today Hayes isn't feeling well and has spent most of the day laying on the couch or in bed resting. It isn't too often that Hayes gets sick so we're hoping he starts feeling better by tomorrow. It's hard with little legs!
