JC On Everest: Anybody else.....
http://jconeverest.blogspot.com/2009/04/anybody-else.html
Friday, 3 April 2009. Completely and utterly pumped and ready to go! Less than a week until departure and I CANNOT wait. I still have a s*it load to get organised and loads of stuff to buy but I simply don't care. I am trying very hard to contain my enthusiasm but it doesn't seem to be doing to plan as I bore pretty much anybody I meet about the fact I am going to Nepal to attempt a World Record next week! Awesome, simply awesome. I have a quick question about your blog, do you think you could email me?

Joining a record setting expedition to Everest: September 2008
http://vicksoneverest.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Joining a record setting expedition to Everest. Thursday, 11 September 2008. I am new to the blogging scene, so for want of something with which to begin my posts, will start with some of my favourite quotes, and ones which I have been noting down whilst reading various motivational/adventure/travel books (namely Bear Grylls' 'Facing Up' and 'Facing The Frozen Ocean' amongst others). I will add to these quotes regularly, they are each relevant to The Everest Test itself, or to the team involved:. I have ...

Joining a record setting expedition to Everest. Friday, 24 October 2008. Training gets serious- Kilimanjaro attempt. It is all steam ahead for our preparations for Kilimanjaro, Paola and I leave for Tanzania tomorrow evening, beginning our climb on Monday morning. Excitement is now setting in as I start to pack, and have finally finished all of my tasks to make sure we are ready - jabs, malaria tablets, acquiring Diamox (a drug which helps the body to deal with altitude), Tanzanian visas and endless othe...

JC On Everest: August 2008
http://jconeverest.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Friday, 29 August 2008. I am currently nursing a little hangover having met up with Team Tenzing (one of the teams competing, the other being Team Hillary) for a curry last night so I think I will leave my blogging there for one day but rest assured, further details on our world record challenge, our training and fundraising will follow shortly. With any luck I will have also figured out how to use this blog a little better. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Sleep more, dream bigger.

JC On Everest: The Best Day So Far
http://jconeverest.blogspot.com/2009/01/best-day-so-far.html
Thursday, 22 January 2009. The Best Day So Far. Last Saturday was a big day for me in the progress of the Everest Test. We started with a good training session on Battersea. Park doing the normal Trim Trail. Appropriately tired, our minds then focused on finally getting down to playing some cricket - this is after all what we are planning on doing on Mt Everest. We headed to the home of cricket (Lords for the uneducated) for a 2 hour net session during the afternoon. We also had a run down on how Kirt.

Joining a record setting expedition to Everest: November 2008
http://vicksoneverest.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Joining a record setting expedition to Everest. Thursday, 13 November 2008. The tortoise and the hare. The weeks trek flew past and I think we were both surprised at how much we enjoyed it, I think we had both secretly been expecting to be dreading emerging from our tent each morning knowing what was ahead of us! It was purely chance and luck that the two of us had been so fortunate, and of course due to the excellent advice of our guides. Paola and I reached Uhuru at 7am, and were blown away by the pano...
