L R and L Anthony. Haylage is a moist hay forage product that has been naturally fermented. The hay crop is harvested and baled with the sap still in the plant. The bale of hay is wrapped with six layers of an air tight plastic wrap and stored. Our haylage bales are availabe in two sizes for your convienience:. The 3x3x3ft bales can be easily manually handled eg through stable doors. The 5x3x3ft bales are mechanically handled but contain more. A 3 ft bale will last two average horses (16hh) up to a week.
