Life according to us. Friday, 10 September 2010. Trying his first bite. Liam hasn't been too interested in trying any food but the time has come. He is getting a big boy and needs to start trying some big boy food! Of course the first thing he tried was baby rice. As you can see, it didn't go down very well. He was heaving and pulled the funniest faces you've seen. He also thought that since he didn't like it, it would be fun to scoop it out! Doesn't like it too much. Then the gagging starts.

Life according to us. Friday, 3 June 2011. In June we spent two weeks and took a trip down to the Dordogne region in south-western France. It was somewhere we have been wanting to go for a long time and we weren't disappointed. After a 2 day drive with a ferry trip in between we made it and had a great time. We stayed near the town of Sarlat-la-Caneda and enjoyed a couple of day trips into the town. In Sarlat town centre. Liam playing in the park. Hayley and Liam enjoying the town. Made it to the bottom!

Thursday, July 30, 2009. We finally had our first camping-as-a-family-of-four experience. It was fun. We camped on the ranch, on one of the meadows that is quite close to the houses, just in case.
