Wednesday, 31 October 2012. Deep Etch Studio Portrait - 2. Since i had not used water in the studio before I asked Julian how was the best way to do it and to also get his permission beforehand. Julian suggested i use some of the large trays from the darkroom. I also packed a lot of towels and some plastic throw sheets. Inspiration for the background. I have now had my first experience with loosing images it really cuts you up inside just knowing that all that hard work and planning was for nothing!

Monday, 5 November 2012. Product Photography - 3. Today i was photographying the rest of my products. I had two new Suki products to photograph. I wanted to keep the same feel as my last few products but introduce some new elements. Even though this above image is not classic product shot, i feel that it is a beautiful shot. I decided to re shoot as quickly as I could as this would help me to get over the traumatic experience of loosing photos, I booked the studio for a Monday and then went on to finding another model to use. Sunday, 18 November 2012. Self Critique of Braidwood. I feel that the photo shoot i did at Braidwood was successful. With the time limit i was given i managed to photograph several people, making a strong connection with one person in particular who i then featured in my photos. The creative ones i did stand well on their own and tell a story. If Braidwood decided to start doing ghost tours or advertising halloween then commercially i have achieved promotional images for this. I would grade myself a D.
