Daily Haylie - Blog. Our Journey with CAH. Haylie's turned 5 not that long ago and is THRIVING. God is good. She has been (knock wood) healthy, growing like a weed and bringing joy and sweetness (and a little rambunctiousness too) wherever she goes. She is just a light and a joy. She has had NO pain, NO complications, NO worries since her surgery and we are so blessed that she was in the most capable and compassionate hands of Dr. Poppas. I will try to write more often, but Haylie has been doing great!

Is this my life? Wednesday, July 22, 2009. Just having fun at Home. Tonight was super fun. Garin sang me the ABC's and it was movie night. Dad was out at the Cabin working on the shed while we were home reading books and watching movies. All of the sudden Garin busted out singing the ABC's. Is this my life? Saturday, December 12, 2009. Newest Member of the Ruppert Family. Rusty (formerly Johnny) is a 4 year old, red male who was a stray in the Harlingen, TX animal shelter. He tested positive for Heartworms, so the only way out for him was Rescue. Fortunately, there was a volunteer who was headed this way and let him hitch a ride to the DFW area. Is this my life? Saturday, May 23, 2009. We decided to go up to the cabin and take my mom and brother, Nick to see the place. They had only seen pictures and since it was a long weekend we were able to drag them up there. It was so much fun. We did not have the best weather, but we were still able to fish and ride around on the Mule to show off the property. It was super fun. Chris showing the Kids the fish! On Garin's Favorite toy.
