Saturday, January 22, 2011. A bit of our Canadian Winter. Yes, it's getting colder now! We can't complain, the winter has been great so far. But, the last 2 days have been cold and it will only get colder! But, we're enjoying the winter and are getting ourselves organized for a little day on the slopes. We hope! Tuesday, December 13, 2011. I was warned by my mother to get some pics of the house on the blog! And the first pic that I post is super dark! Sorry but I didn't really look at the pictures until I downloaded them and now I'm too lazy to start again. So, it will have to do for now. Maybe it will hide some of the mess! Wednesday, August 3, 2011. Well hello folks. it has been a while since our last post. There are no excuses really. We have just been quite busy with work, kids activities and looking for a home. Also it seems that Montreal is not quite as exotic as Australia (some might say. sorry Montreal) so we have let the posting slide a little. They both did a mixture of french and english songs. Saturday, October 8, 2011. It all began with a girl, Amanda, and a boy, Myles. And they lived happily ever after! And we all loved the wedding celebration! While we were home, we got to enjoy some wedding fun. Just what we all needed! The wedding took place down the road from my parents, up on the hill, in Myles' parents field, in front of lots of family and friends, surrounded by love. It was a great day. The kids had a blast being in Nova Scotia. So relaxing. But lots of wedding preparations! Cousin Aa...

Tuesday, March 29, 2011. So, a typical evening at our place, if we aren't running off to karate or dance, is having the kids enjoy some play time or getting some homework done. They really are at a fun age right now and it's nice to have some quiet evenings at home! Breagha lovvvves her accessories.especially if it means wearing my shoes! My new boots go up to her hips and she can look quite stylish while cooking in her kitchen! And she walks better in heels than I do! One more thing about our evenings.

Wednesday, February 16, 2011. First Karate Belt - Blue Belt. Another busy week for the MacPurdys! Shamus has karate during the week and on the weekend. Breagha has dance during the week. And of course one of them either has a playdate or a birthday party on the weekend! So, the weeks do go by quickly. This past weekend was no exception! He'll be given his belt this week so we're very proud of him. Do I look nervous? I love his face in this one. Lots of first belts.congrats to everyone. Way To Go Shamus!
