Holly in your heart.: Saved! So much more than a movie review.
http://hollyinyourheart.blogspot.com/2010/04/saved-so-much-more-than-movie-review.html
Holly in your heart. So much more than a movie review. Was released in 2004 and stars the amazing Mandy Moore, one of my favorite underrated actresses, Jenna Malone, and a fantastic supporting cast including: Macaulay Culkin, Patrick Fugit, Martin Donovan, and Mary-Louise Parker. Warning: Spoiler alert. To draw parallels to what is going on in my life I am basically gonna outline the film. Sidebar: I’m not pregnant. Trust. Let’s get started…. Mary was a good Christian girl. She was very involved in h...

Holly in your heart.: Current Events: Return of the Jedi
http://hollyinyourheart.blogspot.com/2010/07/current-events-return-of-jedi.html
Holly in your heart. Current Events: Return of the Jedi. This is not a Star Wars review - It it my glorious return to writing about what I am passionate about - film. My two month hiatus comes to a screeching halt all thanks to one film. Inception. But more on that Monday. I felt a little follow up to a previous post, Current Events: version 2.0, was necessary since so much has happened in that time. First - The optimism from that post has subsided. Reality hit.hard. NOW - I am consciously pursuing cross...

Holly in your heart.: February 2010
http://hollyinyourheart.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Holly in your heart. Yeah, yeah, yeah.downloading bootleg movies is technically against the law. But I recently (finally saw Shutter Island, movie Mondays to come, on Monday) realized why I hate seeing movies in the theater. Here are my top 5 pet peeves regarding this subject:. 5 Girls on dates. The light from your phone is distracting. And no one really cares at that exact moment what you have to say so save it. I don't experience people actually talking on heir phone during a movie much anymore...They ...

Holly in your heart.: The Sound of Music
http://hollyinyourheart.blogspot.com/2010/04/sound-of-music.html
Holly in your heart. The Sound of Music. Warning: This is not a movie review post. Since then my musical interests have changed quite a bit. And honestly, I fell out of the Christian music loop when I fell out of faith. But thanks to some amazing friends in my life (specifically Chad and Ashley) my interests in such have peeked again. I spent all day yesterday downloading awesome bands.many of which remind me of secular bands I also love. It's pretty epic, seriously. I also recently downloaded Ivoryline.

Holly in your heart.: Current Events: Version 2.0
http://hollyinyourheart.blogspot.com/2010/04/current-events-version-20.html
Holly in your heart. Current Events: Version 2.0. Apologies for not writing in some time, but life happened. I knew that 2010 would hold big things, but I never imagined my life would take such a dramatic turn, a turn in the right direction. For the first time in my life I am pursuing everything. I have ever wanted from life. Second, my announcement to the world: I am in a band. My dear friend Chad (see sidebar under inspirations: Chad Made Media) had a vision. That vision is Under Bridges. Holly- -I jus...

Holly in your heart.: January 2010
http://hollyinyourheart.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Holly in your heart. He waltzed into my life about 4 years ago. It is believed that his home was in the streets before he found me; a little war wound left over from his scrapping days proves my theory to be true. But those who know him know. Launch: the method to my madness. Welcome friends, family, and passers by. In December I started my bucket list (its definitely a work in progress to be posted at a later date,. PLEASE NOTE, MY PAGE ISN'T FINISHED YET. But I couldn't keep it to myself anymore. :).

Holly in your heart.: March 2010
http://hollyinyourheart.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Holly in your heart. After an entire year, I finally. Drove to Davis yesterday after work to get my hair cut by my dear friend, who we call, C-kah. She cut off over 5 inches. And I have never been more excited. She did amazing work. In other news: progress has been coming along on my plot for Script Frenzy. details to follow. But I've been spending much needed time trying to figure out what I'm doing before I dive-in head-first in shark-infested waters. Side-bar: My first day off in about 2 months is Sun...

Holly in your heart.: April 2010
http://hollyinyourheart.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Holly in your heart. Movie Mondays: Avatar (Retraction). Withdrawal of a promise, statement, opinion, etc. Regarding the "hype" that is Avatar.I finally get it. I rarely like huge blockbuster films, with huge directors attached, but this was worth every penny. The story wasn't as predictable as I had anticipated, and the love story was kept to a minimal, thankfully. In my opinion, the story trumps all of James Cameron's previous blockbusters, especially Titanic. So much more than a movie review. Although...
