This was the first year I didn't bother to to go look at it. We had other things to do. The previous week I did ride my bike to the Green Cruise, a biking event in Ferndale. Happy Valentines day to all the lovers out there. We had a rough January, with me and Phyllis taking turns getting sick. Things got some better, so made the trek down to Florida. On the health front, I am feeling well, Phyllis is still suffering with some kind of bug. She has been doing a little better the last couple of days, but still is not in shape to travel. Hence we are still in Michigan. When weather permits, I've gone mall walking. The weather has been bad, and it is supposed to get worse.

He is still in Oakwood Hospital, where he appears to be getting very good care. However his condition is such that it is hard for me to see a positive outcome. Phyllis still goes there everyday and advocates for him. To continue with the negative news, I’m a bit under the weather myself. I have a bad cough, muscle aches, and at times a slight fever.
