My fascination with this particular kalanchoe began when I spotted those reddish pancake leaves at Shipley Nature Center in Huntington Beach. I was so impressed with the thick sturdy plant, its unique appearance among the other succulents. The following photos were taken in gardens, walkways, commercial centers and parking lots in HB.
