Next, we conducted interviews with five HCI professionals and graduate students. We asked participants how they build and maintain their networks, if they attend at networking events, if they use variety of online and local networks. We recorded, transcribed, and analyzed interviews using SaturateApp to categorize information. As we gained insight from the observations and interviews, we constructed three hypotheses:. We found that people use a wide variety of online tools such as Email, LinkedIn, Lanyrd, Facebook, Twitter, etc. in order to find and create professional connections. Our participants expressed frustration with regard to locating, organizing, and accessing relevant information within social networks as well as within the DePaul websites. Our data revealed that.
