The OERHA is made up of active members who volunteer to maintain, restore and operate the museum for its many visitors throughout the year. Are always welcome at the HCRR, and there are many ways to lend a hand. To collect, preserve, restore, operate and display electric railway-related objects, and interpret their historical significance through the operation of the Halton County Radial Railway.

The Halton County Radial Railway is run primarily by volunteers who undertake many collection, museum and administration tasks on a daily basis. Volunteers work on collection restorations and displays, maintenance, gift shop management, visitor services, and marketing needs for instance. If you have a skill to share, are interested in learning new things, or would like to work with others who share an interest, please see the Membership. Page for more information.

In addition to the collection of railway vehicles and equipment, the museum has obtained a number of historical railway-related items. These include drawings, photographs, uniforms, maps, books and much more. These items are available for research purposes upon request. We plan to launch a searchable database on this page in the future.
