Life Glimpses: March 2011
http://awood4d4him.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 19, 2011. The school is starting to actually take the shape of a real building now. We have laid about 2,300 blocks with only about 500 more to go. We are now up to the tops of the windows and doors where we have to pour a concrete beam all the way around the building. There is a lot of work to go, but it is nice to see some progress. This is James he and I are the one that have done all the block work, it is such a blessing to work with him. This is Alfred Paetzold just finishing up the ...

Friday, July 27, 2012. Almost two months after the fact but better late than never! The Big day was June 9th. Bethany Barron and I pledged our lives to each other in Greenville, SC. I am not going to say much here since pictures are worth far more than words. Six of our seven flower girls. Apparently having the veil on before the dress made things a little more difficult. Our beautiful cake decorated by my sister, Joia. Bethany's sisters, Allene and Laurel. Bethany and her parents. My side of the family.

Life Glimpses: Camping!
http://awood4d4him.blogspot.com/2013/05/camping.html
Tuesday, May 28, 2013. Weekend before last, we took our new tent and spent a few days camping at Croft State Park, about an hour away. It was a very relaxing weekend, and despite a decent amount of rain, we stayed dry in our tent and had an enjoyable few days =) I had a half day at work that Friday, so we were able to leave and get to the campground by mid afternoon. Andrew getting the fire going to cook our supper. The contents of our foil hobos. And the Delicious final product! They were oh so good!

Friday, August 5, 2011. The time since I left Mozambique on June 21st has gone by so quickly. Bethany and I flew back together. We had a 6 hour layover in Amsterdam so we took the opportunity to enjoy the sights of the city for a few hours. We arrived in Atlanta quite rested surprisingly enough on the evening of the 22nd and Bethany's parents were there to pick us up. Bethany and me in Amsterdam. Finally made it to our camp site, a little tired. Mr Barron and I also worked together on finishing up some b...

Tuesday, March 31, 2015. This is the only year in Awana that Keenan and Moriah will both be in Sparks at the same time. They were super excited to compete in the annual Awana Games against five other church's teams on Saturday! The gym was super awesome! It had a running track, pool and raquetball courts). It must be a church/school. Our team coming in. Very serious while he waits. I love Riah's kneepads! All ready to start, facing off with two other teams. Ready for the first game, the Sparky Crawl.

Our Daily Post from the Emerald Coast: Early August Randoms
http://pjknews.blogspot.com/2015/08/early-august-randoms.html
Sunday, August 9, 2015. In an effort to get caught up on blogging before school starts (tomorrow! I'm going to do a random, scramble post with pictures from whatever we've had going on lately. Moriah and I discovered a fun, new craft that you can do using party streamers! You tear a piece off the roll (a few inches long), roll it into a ball, and then glue them to a simple drawing you've made on cardboard. Their whole sweet family. I did my first large family photo shoot! But it turned out pretty great!

Saturday, August 30, 2014. Philip and I will celebrate our ten year anniversary next month. We thought the occasion called for a special trip (especially since we haven't spent more than two days away together since having kids). After much deliberation, we decided to go to the Azores, a small collection of islands out in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, nearly 1,000 miles off the coast of Portugal. Why? Rebekah posted an aerial video she found of their town today. Look how gorgeous it is! I was thrille...

Monday, February 23, 2015. Maple Taffy on Snow! When I saw a friend's pictures on facebook of her kids eating maple taffy off of snow, I was inspired. I thought, "I'm not in Canada, but by golly, we've got snow and I've got a jug of Canadian Maple Syrup, Let's Do This! Aren't my mittens (one of three adorable pairs) from Rebekah, perfect for this shot? YUM I thought I might lose a tooth it was soo sticky, though! We may do this Every time it snows! Snoozing twinies who just turned a month old yesterday (even though they aren't due for another couple of days! Some of the boys at lunchtime. That's a lot of kids! This was Tiffany's idea =).

Thursday, April 30, 2015. Day Ten, Home! We got an early start this morning, leaving our hotel shortly after 4 am! Our first flight was at 6:39 and we landed in Wichita at 10am! As soon as we got out of the van to take our stuff into the airport, Caleb puked. On Mickey. =0/ Thankfully he didn't puke anymore the rest of the day, though! Sleepy girl on the way to Atlanta. Since coming home from a great vacation can be kind of a bummer, Philip and I had planned a welcome home surprise for the kids:. 4) (Thi...
