Welltoday is my 20 year reunion.I can't believe that I am actually old enough to attend a 20 year reunion, but I got the invite, so I guess I better go :) I graduated with the Class of 1990 at Fairfield Community High School, and was proud to be a Fairfield Mule (yeah.go ahead and laugh.our mascot was a mule :). Sunday, March 29, 2009. On Saturday, we went with some good friends for a hike through the Howell Wetlands in Evansville. We thought it might be a bit rainy, but it turned out to be a great day for a hike and a picnic under the shelter. We saw lots of turtles, ducks, geese, and birds.Carter was even excited to see a brick laying in the water (he needs to get out more :)! We had a wonderful day, and took some fun pictures! Monday, February 1, 2010. We finally got our first big snow, and the boys couldn't wait to play in it! Thankfully, Dave was off, so we headed to the hills for some sledding! Some good friends were able to join us as well so their little guy could hit the slopest too! We spent two hours there, and I'm pretty sure the boys slid down at least 30 times! Friday, June 25, 2010. We bought season passes to the Holiday World water/amusement park in Santa Claus, Indiana this summer, and have been 11 times so far (we are getting our money's worth! This park is amazing.VERY clean, free soft drinks, free sunscreen, friendly staff. Carter LOVES all the rides.including the roller coasters, but his favorite is the Pilgrim's Plunge, which is the World's Tallest Water Ride! I was a bit freaked as I watched him go up the first time, but now he rides it all by himself!

Saturday, April 25, 2009. First T- Ball Game. The boys had a ball at their first t-ball game (pun intended :)! Carter got the chance to play first base, third base and pitcher, and Caleb played left field, third base and second base. They both did a great job, and it was so much fun watching them be part of the team! Tuesday, April 21, 2009. Monday, May 25, 2009. WellCarter graduated from preschool.sniff, sniff :) Noah's Ark Preschool had a very nice ceremony and cookie reception for the kids, and even Caleb got to play a part in the festivities! The boys got all dressed up (don't they look handsome? And Pa and Ma we able to come over for the event. Head of the Harbour. A place to ponder. Saturday, July 27, 2013. A walk along the foreshore track. After all the recent rain we've had a spell of crisp, sunny, winter days. Yesterday I went for a walk around the foreshore track, somewhat altered by two large slips - evidence of the constant movement of land in this part of the world. When I go walking I always take a small pack. It leaves home empty but always returns with treasure. The foraging instinct is strong and very satisfying! Links to this post.
