July 4, 2012 @ 11:24 am. 183; { Turkey. Hagia sofia was a church turned mosque and is now a museum. The building has been restored after multiple fires and is impressive if not overwhelming. I rolled my hand around as is tradition in one of the pillars and made a wish! Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Fill in your details below or click an icon to log in:. July 2, 2012 @ 10:27 am. 183; { Turkey. Amazing to see the Topkapi Palace after seeing the alhambra palace in Granada as their influences seem similar. The palace harem had incredible tile detail, which is good considering the 300 women who served the sultan there were not allowed to leave. Some of it reminded me of the King of Siam movie…. July 2, 2012 @ 10:21 am. 183; { Turkey. My tour took quick walks through the grand bazaar and spice markets. The spice market is dizzy with color and treats. Afterwar...

FMIOTW: black sea salmon. July 4, 2012 @ 3:09 pm. 183; { Turkey. Omg, karadeniz somon was juicy, flavorful and flaky. Why can i not find this fish in Chicago? I went to a fish market near galata bridge and had the dude fillet the fish. I felt badly leaving the bones and head but trust me, my kitchen can’t handle fish stock from scratch. I made dinner on a portable electric stove. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Fill in your details below or click an icon to log in:.
