Anthroposophic therapists are offering a one-week health retreat in the summer of 2017. The week will be filled with individual-orientated therapies and group work, both based on anthroposophic medicine. The emphasis will be on healthy daily rhythms, vegetarian nutrition and artistic pursuits. The evenings will be filled with talks, lectures and visits to nearby natural sceneries. This will be an enriching experience in a nurturing place, guided by the sunshine of the long Icelandic summer days.

All guests are offered the opportunity to take part in workshops during their stay. The following workshops are available:. In anthroposophical art therapy, wet on wet is usually used. This method, where the flowing colours mix freely on the wet paper, stimulates the imagination and play, where new colours and sharp forms come to shine and disappear again in the dream world of imagination. All daily activities emphasise a holistic approach to health so that it supports a natural daily rhythm and necessary rest. Special consideration will be given to individual needs. The following is on offer:. Holistic therapy, one of four daily for five days. One or two support treatments per day, provided by nurses. Daily walks/nature observations in the surroundings of Skálholt. Private talks with leading coordinators/therapists as needed. Two of three workshops (choir, eurythmy and painting/modelling).

All guests can choose one of the four therapies and will receive daily therapeutic guidance, in cooperation with our leading professionals. Boðið verður upp á fjögur mismunandi meðferðarform sem flest hafa verið viðurkennd af alþjóðasamtökum antróposófískra heilbrigðisstétta. Dvalargestir geta valið eitt af fjórum meðferðarformum og munu fá daglega handleiðslu meðferðaraðila í samráði við leiðandi fagaðila. Mælt er með góðri hvíld að lokum meðferða.
