Healthy Island Project: Island Workshop Day

Serving Deer Isle, Stonington, and surrounding communities. Move It to Lose It. Salt Air Seniors Group. Each May HIP collaborates with Haystack Mountain School of Crafts. And helps organize a day immersed in creative pursuits! There are seven different workshops offered including ones in basketry, blacksmithing, drawing, fiber, jewelry, woodworking and writing. The workshops are designed for beginners, and half of the places are reserved for people who have never participated in a Haystack session.
