Thursday, June 26, 2008. Learning, Learning, Learning. Last month was pretty busy with a lot of personal stuff that has been taken care of, I think. This month, my goal is to climb on top of this overwhelming pile of obligations. We'll see what happens. I know I am supposed to be meeting with the Beis Din sometime soon, although I don't know what soon is. I'll keep everything posted. Links to this post. Tuesday, June 24, 2008. Decisions Decisions: March 2008
http://orthodoxconversion.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 30, 2008. Thankfully, I have a job for the summer at the Department of Health. I'm really excited because it's the position I wanted and I am hoping that it will affirm my desire to work in public health law. I met another woman who converted. I am not sure how long ago she finished, but I am sure I'll find out. She took over 3 years for the process, though. It's really nice talking to people who went through my experience. It makes it seem less lonely. This woman has of...I'm cleaning my a...

Decisions Decisions: January 2009
http://orthodoxconversion.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 21, 2009. So, what's been going on? I'm still not Jewish. I heard through the grapevine (this time, a trustworthy one) that they are waiting for law school to be finished in order to show that I am more settled. It's true, but that is why I am struggling. I love Judaism for it's learning and the insistance that every question should be asked and that answers are available. I'm struggling because the Jewish community does not seem set up to support that reality. Links to this post.

http://orthodoxconversion.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 22, 2008. Well, school is out. I wrote three research papers and I have one more to do, but I have an extension. I need to finish soon, but I have still been crazy busy. I started my new job last week and I love it. I have an entire wall that is a window and I love the sunshine! I can't imagine that the Beis Din actually knows. I feel so in the dark about where I am in this process and the end feels so far away. Oh, and, I found workout skirts that are actually tznius. Links to this post.

Tuesday, January 15, 2008. 1 Make a "Resume": In a page, give a brief overview of who I am, what I have done so far, and what my objectives are. 2 Make an Outline: List all of the books I have read, what I have learned, how I have changed my life, etc. This will probably be a supplement to the resume as it will be a rough sketch in order for me to prepare my Jewfolio.
