Tuesday, March 1, 2011. This past weekend was the NCHSAA State Championships and it was a great weekend for North Henderson. We left the tournament with two state placers, including the 2A State Champion at 103 pounds! Colby sported the old Edneyville (the school North replaced) singlet in the finals. Now look at German. He speaks great English. He's an excellent and admired young man. He's a terrific and tough wrestler. He's a wonderful teacher. He'd be a great wrestling coach someday. Whole30 .Day 2.

Tuesday, July 19, 2011. In two days, I leave for Iowa to do something that has been on my "to do" list for a few years: RAGBRAI. RAGBRAI is an acronym (Register's Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa) and has been described to me as "the best of Americana", "a rolling party" and "the best way to spend a week in the summer.". We'll see if the ride lives up to the hype, but I'm really looking forward to spending the week with with the 'Chicks'. Actually, I'm gonna shut up. Check out this post.

Monday, July 27, 2015. I was riding along passing time and I thought to myself, I wonder if people wonder what I eat. I'm gonna blog about it. First of all, I've lost weight. I don't know how much, but one of my riding shorts now fits loose (saying a lot for spandex) and a pair of off bike shorts I brought I can literally remove without unbuttoning. Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Gas prices have fallen in the last week, but they will go up again. Part of what we need to do is find alternatives to conventional means of transportation: mass transit, carpooling, work from home and, yes, bicycling. I know, the Ducati.
