Sunday, May 10, 2009. A Day at the Lake.Happy Mother's Day! Yesterday, we got invited to go with our great friends, the Whitfields to the lake! We had a wonderful time! As you can see! God is like our lifejacket. I am sure that she would have been a little more nervous if she didn't have on her pink barbie life jacket. Probably clinging to mommy or the boat or whatever she could grasp onto. But, she had already been in the deep water and guess what.the life jacket held her up! She had her life jacket!

We have enjoyed a lot of family time together over the past few weeks and having nothing on our calendars as we had pretty much cleared the rest of our next 2-3 months to recover from her surgery. Dave McCabe with "The Heart of Sailing" took us out on his sailboat with some friends of his and we had a wonderful day. Sarah and Jason will ALWAYS remember this special day.
