Abby's Quilt Blog: August 2006
http://abbysquiltblog.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
This blog is about my quilts, mostly the ones I have done in the past with occasional comments about current projects. It takes the place of the webpage I've wanted to design but have not had time to do. Monday, August 14, 2006. The quilting demon got his claws in me! And not just one. So I used those to create a saw-tooth edge on the square, then added triangles, cut from the same part of the print as the fracture squares. How do I get this demon back in his cage? Apparently she is not a quilter, she advocates only keeping projects you expect to work on in the next 6-12 months, and only as much fabric as you can carry! No serious quilter lives like that!

This is a blog I've set up to keep a record of all my quilts I've made from November 2005 to November 2006. I'm doing this for two reasons, one to use up my stash that has been sitting for far to long and two to make charity quilts from this fabric. Posted by Nancy R @ 5:14 AM.

Abby's Quilt Blog: December 2007
http://abbysquiltblog.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
This blog is about my quilts, mostly the ones I have done in the past with occasional comments about current projects. It takes the place of the webpage I've wanted to design but have not had time to do. Saturday, December 29, 2007. Then I discovered I only had 28 big squares, not 37. Oops. So I went ahead and sewed the 2 X 4 units onto each big square on the wrong edge. I was sooo careful to lay it out first to make sure I did it right, and still got it wrong! At that point I set the whole project aside...

I've decided to start with using a top I had finished but never made into a quilt. It is a bow tie pattern. This is pieces I had left over from a baby quilt I had made for my nephew. Bill had used just this top to cover his computer in our bedroom. Posted by Nancy R @ 7:27 AM.

Pagan Blog Project: F is for Faith - Beneath the surface
http://hearthstone.livejournal.com/634497.html
Change is the only constant. Pagan Blog Project: F is for Faith. Mar 18th, 2014 at 8:45 PM. One of the things that drew me first toward paganism was that faith was not required. As a likely-related note, one of my issues with Christianity was the focus on faith- the need to believe. Belief is not a thing you can force, or a thing you can choose. It is there or it is not. Faith is there or it is not. So the notion of a religion based on practice- on things that are under your control- was huge for me.
