Monday, January 15, 2007. Since it sleeted for almost an entire weekend, we are covered in ice. Our power did not go out, thank goodness! Fortunately for me, I had just checked out from the library a book of the complete works of Jane Austin and have been deliciously savoring it to the dismay of my family. For some reason they seem to think that I'm not as attentive when I have a good book in hand. :). Who knows though, I might weather the cold after all. Saturday, January 06, 2007. This seems logical bu...

Thursday, May 24, 2007. Critique of LOST Season 3 Finale. Those writers are amazing. The "land of the LOST" club has been so much fun. Everyone screaming, laughing, or gasping at all the right moments. The commercials were great breaks for intriguing conversations. I don't think that any of our Lost club meetings ended before midnight. :) We just couldn't get enough of visiting. I invite you back to the "land of the LOST" club in January 2008. Wednesday, May 23, 2007. And the Poetry category.

The last one is not so dramatic, but it just seems to fit along with the theme of change for me right. I really needed to get that out. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Literature Lover: January 2008
http://memoirsofaministerswife.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 31, 2008. Tonight was the premiere of Lost. Weirdly enough, I wasn't overly anticipating it throughout the day. But I was glad when it was time to start and the Lost Clubbers arrived. My excitement rose as the opening credits began but the episode didn't move my world, so to speak. It probably didn't help that I read rave reviews about it beforehand, so my hopes were high- a bit too high. Sigh. Tuesday, January 29, 2008. So I start over again, or scratch that story altogether, and hunt ...

Literature Lover: In Bliss
http://memoirsofaministerswife.blogspot.com/2008/07/in-bliss.html
Tuesday, July 22, 2008. I cannot even begin to describe my emotions right now but they are vicariously close to bliss. I received a letter yesterday from Highlights Magazine for Children accepting one of my stories. I have been spontaniously erupting into squeals, songs or cheers ever since. Such a small step but it's a milestone marker for me. I think it's a huge step, way to sell yourself short. :-). I'm proud of you for writing it but even more for having the guts to send it in.
