The Face on My Plate: December 2009
http://koshblogger.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
The Face on My Plate. An exploration of living well without eating anything that ever had eyes (except potatoes). Thursday, December 31, 2009. Bet you can't watch it all. I started to watch the docu EARTHLINGS on Dec. 12th, 2009. It was horrifying and shocking. It took me until Dec. 27th to fortify myself and get to the point where I oculd watch the last two-thirds of it. Everyone needs to watch this movie, at least those in the G20 and/or the Northern Hemisphere. Everyone. Then we'll talk.

whoville: May 2013
http://sparkegiano.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Whoville is my home and where I write about the everyday. Tuesday, May 28, 2013. This is Joe Joe, or Little Joe, or JJ, or Joe Joseph, or Little Gravy, or any other names I may have missed. He was my brother's dog and we loved him, and sadly he passed away last week. He will be missed by so many. Here I'm trying to make it look like he's interested in my magazine, but I think his eyes are closing, or closed because what's better than napping on the beach! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). whoville: May 2012

Whoville is my home and where I write about the everyday. Friday, May 25, 2012. Recent surprise visitors to the whoville birdfeeder. As usual the birdfeeder has been busy with the usual chickadees, nuthatches, pine siskins, and the groundfeeders like the dark-eyed juncos and spotted towhees who manage to perch on the feeder even if they are a little large. He was successful and figured out how to perch sideways and reach in with her beak to get at the seed. He's clearly too big for this little feeder.
