Sponsor child that I hadn't responded to (sad), and an itunes card for a free download of a Christmas song I picked up for a friend (Merry Christmas 2015? I looked everywhere for a card that was a just because occasion and couldn't find one so I "upcycled" a Christmas Card and thought I would share. It is a great idea for those cards you have that are the wrong occasion but have good "bones.".

To be honest it is more out of necessity to cook all the food I can find in the cabinet and freezer right now. I am on a tight budget and I am doing my best to stick to it. Summer Veggie Chicken Bake. 1 can cream of chicken. 2 chicken breast cubed. 1/2 onion sliced thin. 1 yellow squash sliced thin. 1 zucchini squash sliced thin.

I try very hard not to get caught up in the competition that is out there. There is no one else exactly like you on this planet. I mean some close calls for sure, but no one else has your exact same life experiences, outlook, personality, etc. So why can't we embrace ourselves and draw from the beauty in others without feeling like we are measuring up?

Saturday, May 28, 2011. Hello friends. You may have noticed that I haven't blogged in a while. That is because summer has begun. WHOOO! This past week I have been at Student Life Camp at Look Out Mountain, Georgia. Here's a brief explanation of almost everything we did. We always had a few hours of free time each day. Then we went back to worship, then to late night party in the cafeteria, and then to our dorms, and then stayed up half the night! I had over 500 pictures! Wish I could have posted them all!

Saturday, April 23, 2011. By far, Easter is my favorite holiday. (other than Christmas that is! Easter is a day full of celebrating! The Sunday before Easter my friend, Bethany came over and helped me hide eggs with other people from my neighborhood for our neighborhoods' Easter egg hunt. Friday night we went to a Good Friday service at our church. Afterward I went to an Easter egg hunt in the dark with Bethany at their neighbors house. It was a great Easter! When people meet you, do they think, “Wow, I can see that he/she REALLY loves Jesus more than anything”? Got this off of Twitter this morning.
