Tuesday, April 14, 2009. Last night, Heath and I went to the Chopping Block. In Lincoln Square (a Chicago neighborhood) to take a cooking class. It was a lot of fun! We made southern Italian cuisine while sipping wine and visiting with the other people taking the class. Our chef, Micah, was very helpful and Heath and I both learned a lot. Heath is becoming a pro at chopping onions! We also picked up a Le Creuset teapot that matches my dutch oven! I so don't need a blog. Evanston, Illinois, United States.

Monday, April 13, 2009. We got to Hudsonville around 6pm and chatted for a bit. We got some takeout dinner and played with Lucy and Henry for a little while before cracking open one of the bottles of wine and visiting with Mindy and Ron until bedtime. Saturday was busy busy! Friday, April 03, 2009. How we love thee. Great location relative to Chicago, great restaurants, shopping, beaches, and so forth. We could even afford to buy a place here - there are a number of great condos and even houses with list prices well within our budget. Although there is definitely a markup for being in Evanston (the same place would cost much less in many other locales), it might even be worth it. An extra $917/mo. Uh, no. Taxes on a 1500 sqft condo downtown: $7,000! I so don't need a blog.

In mexico, near the texas border, a drunk driver fell asleep at the wheel and ran into a cycling race head one, killing one person and injuring 10. absolutely tragic. here is the story. My mom collects M&M things as did Heath's sister. Kenzie wasn't quite sure about the statues at first, but warmed up once we were in the store. Sunday afternoon was very nice so Heath got to take his girl fishing. He helped her get all set up and she ended up catching 6 fish with her princess pole! She caught 4 bass, 1 bluegill and 1 channel cat.

Tuesday, January 1, 2013. The "Forever Construction Zone". Our house. deemed the "Forever Construction Zone." The great thing about hosting a party is it inspires you to get your kitchens act together. Yes, I started the cabinet re-do back in July and just NOW (December 31st) did I finally get around to finishing! Sanding, 2 coats of primer, 2 coats of paint, and 2 coats of sealer all with a sponge brush and by science do I never EVER want to do anything like that again! Can't afford a new dishwasher?

Raising FIVE children under the ages of three! Monday, January 28, 2013. Four, Three, Two. Orion has turned Four, Adalynn has turned Three and Signey has turned Two. Honestly I never thought we would get to this point, The Hover home has calmed down in a none newborn sort of way. Yes, Signey is still a baby and we do still have one year olds but the house is not full of newborn cries, burp cloths, bottle duty in the middle of the night, cuddling, and all the joys of newborn hood. Thursday, February 26, 2015. Snow - Since moving back to Indiana we've had to SUPER cold and snowy winters. Asher and Peyton don't seem to mind to much though and Heath did use it as a good excuse to buy a fancy snow blower! I just love having a garage. When we were tubing all he could think about was getting to the hotel to go swimming and when we were at the aquarium all he wanted to do was get in the car to head home so he could watch his movie!
