Friday, August 19, 2016. A family visit back in May. We had visitors over Memorial Day weekend. Sariah, her two kids, and Hyrum's dad came for a few days. It was relaxing, as always, to have extra hands around to entertain my kids. Plus, it's a good excuse to go explore new things in the area. Thursday, October 13, 2016. Extended stay in Utah. Hyrum spent several weeks away from home over the summer. and it was kind of rough. I knew he'd be gone for 4 weeks, starting at the end of August, so I decided to skip town and go have some fun. (Otherwise, I would have lost my mind.). Wednesday, January 4, 2017. December was full of Christmas-y things, but not too. Full We did a lot of relaxing. The first weekend in December we pulled out our decorations and bought a tree. We weren't smart enough to buy a saw and cut off the bottom, so it started to dry out pretty quick. It barely made it till Christmas, when we promptly took it down. Hyrum invited a coworker over for dinner, so I made the Pioneer Woman'. Hyrum went to Japan for 8 days to watch a soccer team play. More on that here.
