Thursday, October 22, 2009. The flu has finally taken out the district, school has been canceled for students Friday, Monday and Tuesday. However all teachers will be working on tuesday. I started thinking on the way home if attendance and sickness is so bad now, I wonder what it is going to be like when normal flu season hits. I know it has hit the teachers hard as of now. Tuesday, September 22, 2009. I know assessments are extremely. Important in our line of work. It allows us to make improvements. And see where we stand, where we need to go, and what we may need to make a longer pit stop on. But my question is, how much instruction time should we loose for assessments? Getting to the point, the last 6 of the 7 school days I have not been able to go to my collaboration classes, have not taught but one day in my resource room classes. Why? Tuesday, November 10, 2009. 1 Color code everything. 2 Clean Before You Go Home. 3 Create a Quick Reference- Weekly calender, parent contacts etc. 4 Make copies at the end of the week for the upcoming school week. 5 Arrive early to school, allows you time plan your day, and miss the line at the copier. 6 Have a designated spot for absent students work. 7 Create a binder for each class you teach.
