Thursday, 31 October 2013. They say the neon lights are bright on Broadway . and Granville. It was decidedly darkish, and wettish, when Freddie and I headed out this morning. I don't usually take him down Granville Street, but I thought a bit of city light might hit the spot . This DKNY shop pretty much captures the sorts of commercial changes that have been afoot in the neighbourhood for some years now. I can't remember exactly which business used to occupy this spot. Mackinnon's Bakery? Fit for us ....

Friday, 22 August 2014. I sent to Modo the Car Co-op. This morning I received a phone call from Nicole, the boss of customer service. She offered a sincere apology (along with a $25 credit for car time) and assured me that they would certainly make an exception to the crate policy in Freddie's case. When I wrote my letter, I was kicking myself for failing to get the name of the snarky rep I'd spoken to, but now I'm thinking it doesn't really matter. Who knows what was going in her head/life?
