Good Things at Christmastime. December 25, 2014. Feeling giddy and full of love and happiness at this moment. Even though we are a household of sickies - coughs and colds, we have much to be thankful for. So glad for our extended family nearby. For extended in-laws who invite us into their family and into their home. To share their food and their family traditions. For singing and Christmas caroling. July 25, 2015. Have you ever noticed how it seems cell phones have about a two year shelf life? Ya know - the same length as most cell phone contracts. I've noticed this a number of times when I was suddenly having cell phone issues. Go in to the store, and guess what - I'm eligible for an upgrade - what perfect timing! March 30, 2014. Had a great weekend away with my side of the family. Lots of relaxing, reading, and renewing. I was away from my computer and internet and cell phone for 48 hours. It was magnificent. The sun was out today, and it warmed up to the 50's. We got to play outside when we got home. I ignored all the dirt and mud attaching itself to my daughter. Something I really struggle with, but I just force myself to pretend it's not there. I know it's fun for her, so I put aside my issues. March 21, 2014.

August 26, 2015. I could write paragraph after paragraph, page after page, post after post about all I'm doing wrong. Seriously. I don't cook. I don't clean. I complain. And I procrastinate. Some days my daughter practically drags me out of bed. I nag my husband. I eat out too much. There are all sorts of failures in every possible category. But, for a change, can I just focus on something I'm doing right. I can't resist a picture of sleeping beauty. What I saw and what I heard made my soul rejoice.
