Monday, August 15, 2011. American Boy Birthday Party. It’s been almost a year since I last posted, so I guess I’ll just call this my annual blog post. But it’s certainly worth a post - my little boy turned ONE! Before having a living child, I never knew why first birthdays were such a big deal. Just another year, right? God has blessed us, just like we always KNEW He would. Like Biblical character, Job, the second half of our lives is proving to be far better than the first! I made 68 of those cupcakes!

Tuesday, January 12, 2010. A pretty good excuse for a super long absence. I meant to come on here and post pictures of the new house we moved into, and tell you how amazing it felt to leave behind the apartment that had become so associated with loss and pain. We have been thrilled to start a new life in a new home! But the funny thing is, I felt so overwhelmingly joyful. So, why am I posting now? Well, the story isn't quite as sad at the moment. Because Grace is going to be a big sister. I had a feeling!

It has become such a tradition that there will be 'Chilly Chili Fests' going on up and down the east coast today at the different Aletheia church plants. too bad here in Tampa it isn't even close to being 'chilly'. haha.
