Wednesday, August 26, 2009. In Playgroup 2 (aka preschool), I usually read a book and sing a song or do a finger play. I only have 10 minutes once a week with those kids so I keep it really simple. I am told my time with them is to get them used to people speaking English. In TKB (aka Kindergarten 2), we are also going over the letters of the alphabet but in more detail. Tuesday, September 8, 2009. More tears.this time for a good reason. This Sunday at church we sang a song that was so powerful that I immediately started crying when I saw the lyrics. I can't get the song out of my head (and I don't want to). The song is The Power of Your Name by Lincoln Brewster. Here is a sampling of the lyrics:. Surely children weren't made for the streets. So now I can e-mail, blog and Skype from the comforts of home and not the smoke-filled coffee shop. Yay! I've already been able to Skype with a few friends. I love it, but not the bills. 4560 to get her towed. 63291 to get her fixed. 4000 to replace gas. Grand Total = $718.51. Christmas is going to suck. I figured I wouldn't even get my birthday gift. But somehow, Matthew says everything will be fine. And the crazy part is I believe him. Well, I'm off to work. 12th day straight now. Someone should shoot me.
