So this year's birthday isn't nearly as freaky as the last one, but I will say that looking at these old magazine covers makes me feel older than I thought I was. I mean, really, Burt Reynolds, Barbara Streisand, Steve McQueen, the Monkees? Still, all in all, not a bad year to be born. The bummer is that my teenage years landed smack dab in the mid-EIGHTIES - not such a great time for fashion. But I'll save those covers for another day. My Life As A Window.
