Heather Williamson Illustration: March 2009
http://heatherwilliamsonart.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 28. This is a final drawing for a series I'm doing about movie genres. I had a lot of fun doing the first montage of super-heros, so I decided to do a few more. This piece is based on fairly recent period films (The Duchess, Marie Antoinette and the mini-series John Adams). Here's the final painting. There's parts about it I like, but I'm not sure I'm happy with the entire piece. Sunday, March 22. Thursday, March 19. George Clooney and Rihanna. Wednesday, March 18. View my complete profile.

Thursday, July 26, 2012. The Olympics are Here! Even though I can't be in England to see the Olympics as I had originally planned, I am still very exciting about the upcoming games. Unfortunately not having cable is going to make seeing a number of the events pretty difficult, but I will at the very least get to see the opening ceremony tomorrow night at a friend's house. Below are pictured some frosted graham crackers I made in honor of the event. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Meredith Hale: Art and Inspiration: Welcome to Orange County
http://meredithhaleart.blogspot.com/2014/01/welcome-to-orange-county.html
Friday, January 31, 2014. Welcome to Orange County. When most people hear the words Orange County their minds probably immediately think of that county in California that had a whole TV series named after it. The Orange County I am referencing is definitely not that one. I am talking about Orange County, North Carolina, which is home to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. This county has also been my home for the past few months. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.
