For Hobbyists and Fish Breeders. Was wondering if anyone knows. Sep 5th, 2011 at 8:38 PM. Does anyone know what company makes the Tetra Whisper back drop aquarium filters? I remember having one and loved the way it kept the tank clean, It even had a flow adjuster on it. I don't know if they make them that way anymore.if a nyone could help with this question I would greatly appreciate it. 2 comments Leave a comment. Sep 6th, 2011 04:37 am (UTC). Aquarium Heaters - LJ Aquariums
http://ljaquariums.livejournal.com/42599.html
For Hobbyists and Fish Breeders. Sep 3rd, 2011 at 1:41 PM. I am looking for an aquarium heater that hangs on the back of the tank that I control the heat.no any names of ones like this? I don't like the pre-set submersive ones, plus you can't regulate the heat if you want too. 2 comments Leave a comment. Sep 4th, 2011 05:49 pm (UTC). They have submersive ones where you can change the heat setting. Hydor makes good ones. Sep 5th, 2011 04:50 am (UTC). 2 comments Leave a comment. Native Fish For Sale.

Newbie aquarist -- pH and cloudiness? - LJ Aquariums
http://ljaquariums.livejournal.com/40744.html
For Hobbyists and Fish Breeders. Newbie aquarist - pH and cloudiness? Sep 14th, 2010 at 11:51 AM. Hey everyone. I purchased a 10 gallon tank two weeks ago and added 2 danios last week under the recommendation of a Petsmart associate (BEFORE finding out about the best fishless cycling methods online. :/). One of them died and the other is still living. I suspect that the culprit is my high pH. These are the relevant products I've been using:. Which does NOT help my pH at all. API Proper pH 7.0. As of righ...

Has anyone ever... - LJ Aquariums

For Hobbyists and Fish Breeders. Aug 19th, 2011 at 10:41 PM. Taken a successful picture of a guppy? And if so how did you do it? 3 comments Leave a comment. Aug 20th, 2011 12:28 pm (UTC). Angle the camera so its not directly pointed at the glass, stand or sit a good distance away, a few feet, and zoom in and try to focus on a tank deco, time the picture right before the fish swims past it. It will take a couple of dozen tries but you should be able to get a decent shot. Good luck! Still alive I presume?

A query about Guppies and Platys - LJ Aquariums
http://ljaquariums.livejournal.com/42360.html
For Hobbyists and Fish Breeders. A query about Guppies and Platys. Aug 24th, 2011 at 10:26 PM. Was wondering since both are community fish.would Platys get along with Guppies? If this is a bad idea.please tell me as you all have given me very sound advice. Some of the Platys are a bit bigger then the guppies.was just wondering. The tank is only a 10 gallon, it has right now 3 females and one male. I rememebered the second question finally. When do I add a bottom feeding fish? 3 comments Leave a comment.

So this is it.since then I have bought more guppies to replace the ones I lost.the females get this little more then pink color to their gills. I've tested the water and the water is fine all the way around. I really love guppies.is there anything else I can be doing to help the guppies survive more then a week? I'm puzzled and Petsmart is no help at this time. 14 comments Leave a comment. Aug 19th, 2011 02:26 pm (UTC). The 1...
