It's a tough job, but someone's gotta do it. Troopcarepacks.org, formerly OK Boxes, is frankly, a little shoestring operation that gets big results because of the dedication of it's volunteers. It depends in part on media exposure to reach those of you who might help our kids fighting a dedicated enemy in extreme conditions in an inhospitible land. When he has time and can get on the air, Si Tenenberg will tell the soldiers's story to anyone who will listen. Uncovering the latest info. Today, Si has a bo...

Care Packages for Our Armed Forces. So what's the big deal. The US has the best equipped armed forces in the world, surely the men and women fighting for our safety and security want for nothing, right? Well, the truth is that it's not that simple. Then they are hurled into life-threatening combat under extremely rigorous circumstances. A care package from troopcarePacks.org" reminds them that back home lies a better world, that cares about them and wants them back healthy and happy. I recei...

Window on a World. Sometimes along with the letters, we get some photos from our troops in Iraq and Afganistan, and we include them here to give those of us back home a look at their environment. Basically it's a lot of hot and dusty or bitter cold. Iraq, as part of the fertile crescent, has a lot more vegitation and water. Afganistan is too hot, or too cold, and full of mountains of rocks to scrabble over. Links to more climate information. Photo Gallery of our kids from the front. Handler and his dog&#...

Help Us With Our Mission. Lend a hand. It's a big help. And it's a good feeling! Funny how chores that would be a real pain in the neck can be fun when shared with others. Just like when camping where everybody pitches in, the chores become easy and all get done, leaving behind sense of accomplishment. It's the same with our operation. Donate to troopcarepacks.org. Soon we hope to have a secure and convenient means of donating money online via PayPal. Never at troopcarepacks.org! Here's How You Can Help.
