Viruses and biology by the nanometer. Is the moment when a virus releases its genome into a new host cell. By uncoating the genome, the virus is free to replicate. I’m Joost Snijder, I do research in virology, structural biology and biophysics. I finished my graduate work in the lab of Albert Heck. At Utrecht University in The Netherlands in 2015. I started a job as a post-doc in the lab of David Veesler. At the VU Amsterdam in The Netherlands. You can find an overview of my scientific publications here.
