Building A Life: Butterflies and Friends (and a baby)
http://sr-squared.blogspot.com/2015/07/butterflies-and-friends-and-baby.html
Sunday, July 12, 2015. Butterflies and Friends (and a baby). So happy to see her best friend from Kindergarten - very sad they have different teachers for first grade . Teddy was happy to see her too :). The whole crew of butterflies (minus a few little brothers). Catching 'butterflies' - the air was so heavy and humid that the balloons did not stay afloat very well, but I think the kids still had fun. Lucky to have family join us for the day too. More crafts - making Eric Carle inspired butterflies.

http://sr-squared.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 21, 2015. We hosted a Father's Day/Baby Reveal Party at our home on Father's day this year and had so much fun celebrating both all of the dads as well as Brandon and Mary's soon-to-be baby. The baby reveal was first. Boy' was the overwhelming guess by the guests. The old wives weren't much help this time around. Can you see the sparkles in the air? Brandon and Mary will be evening up the grand kid count by adding our third boy. Another great dad eagerly awaiting the arrival of his third.

http://jmglcr.blogspot.com/2015/07/chugga-chugga-two-two.html
Notes from the Journey. Thoughts and stories from along the way. Thursday, July 30, 2015. Chugga, Chugga, Two, Two! We celebrated Charlie's birthday with a party at the Frisco Train Store. A friend introduced me to the train store this summer and we had a few play dates there. The store is set up with several train tables and kids can play for free! Not only was the party fun and everyone had a great time but I had very little to do in the way of prep and planning which is exactly what I was looking for!

Building A Life: Love of Reading
http://sr-squared.blogspot.com/2015/07/love-of-reading.html
Monday, July 20, 2015. When Millie was in kindergarten, I worked the fall book fair at the school. While I was working, I noticed that a lot of kids were buying this book:. I didn't know anything about it, but the kids seemed enthusiastic and excited about reading it, so I bought it to read to Millie. She LOVED it. (side note, it's written by one of the 'kids' from Glee . I was skeptical after learning that, but he is actually a good author! I'd say she was pretty happy. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
