the haiku student: January 2014
http://haikustudent.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
I am very sad to announce that father, husband, brother, poet and writer, John Carley, passed away on New Year's Eve 2013. He fought his illness with bravery and humility. John was an extremely talented writer, probably most well-known for his "zip-haiku" form. On a personal note, John helped me with his friendship, advice and encouragement. My condolences go out to his family and friends. John will be sadly missed. Slowly I search a field of flowers. Finding nothing but beauty. John E. Carley 1999.
