Not sure I have much to say, but what the hell. Thursday, July 31, 2008. July 25 to August 2- Parent's visit. Every year my parents come for a visit. They stay with me for a week to 10 days. This year we stayed busy and it went relatively well. The one night we didn't have plans was the one night we fought. I was exhausted and my nerves were shot by the end of the week. Not sure I have much to say, but what the hell. Friday, November 21, 2008. Westside Thanksgiving- Wed., Nov 19. Every year my old office has its own Thanksgiving celebration. I went this year for the first time in a few years. And I'm glad I did. The people rocked. I don't get to see them all that often and I miss them. So it was a nice evening. And it made me very thankful. And he smelled so good! Miriam, Lisa and Emily. Brett and Emiliano having a very rational, reasonable conversation about sharing.

We headed up to dinner a little early last evening with a plan to sit and read our books by the fire. Little did we know that it was the resort's monthly Yappy Hour! She's one of my great friends from law school and as a result, it was a great weekend. We started with dinner at Hopleaf and getting Kim drunk on wine. Then over to the Brauhaus for boots of beer.
