The Adventures of Sam and Stacey. Saturday, June 10, 2006. Jazzing it up in New Orleans. After our week in D.C. Sam had to return to Dayton to catch up his study and mid-terms. meanwhile, I flew to New Orleans to catch up with a very good school friend who I hadn't seen in years! Mindi used to live round the corner from us so we lived in each others pockets from about year 7! Arriving straight from D.C. the humidty in N.O. was absolutely lovely, making me homesick for Brissie in a second! We also ate lot...

The Adventures of Sam and Stacey. Monday, March 19, 2007. 3 new aussie familes have come to Dayton and Glen and Gretchen hosted a great curry night as a meet and greet. The food was fantastic and it was a great night. We really are getting to be a huge group (aiming to overtake the Brits in Dayton! Unfortunately, a few people had been ill prior to the night, and the lingering bugs managed to make their way through about 75% of the Aussies over the next week! On the weekend (3-4th March) we took a roadtri...

The Adventures of Sam and Stacey. Sunday, December 31, 2006. Where did November go? After our trip to Seattle we both got busy catching up on school work. Our last adventure in November was a night in town to see the musical CATS. I loved it and even more I loved the kittens in the foyer on display by the Humane Society! On 9th D...

The Adventures of Sam and Stacey. Wednesday, April 04, 2007. Written 31 Mar 07). Day 1 we played golf on the Bay Course at Kapalua. You could see the water from almost every hole - it was beautiful! Best part was I shot 46 on the back nine! That afternoon we went for a swim at the beach and pool before exploring the old whaling town of Lahaina. Lots of tacky souveniour shops, but the view was still beautiful. We had dinner seated over the water watching boats come into the harbour. Long, pointy thing.

The Adventures of Sam and Stacey: October 2006
http://adventuresofsamandstacey.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
The Adventures of Sam and Stacey. Saturday, October 28, 2006. Preamble. I wrote this in note form while we were in Seattle, and I think it's actually a pretty good summary, so I'll leave it as it is. Suffice to say Cat Empire Concert was awesome, netball was heaps of fun, Bainbridge Island was beautiful and the Falls were lovely too. Thanks Jules for being a gracious host! Looked around "old Bellevue". Early night cause we'd been up since 1.30 am Seattle time. Then to Snoquamie Falls - very pretty. S...

The Adventures of Sam and Stacey: August 2006
http://adventuresofsamandstacey.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
The Adventures of Sam and Stacey. Tuesday, August 29, 2006. Chicago, Footy and Tiger. The city is quite pretty - well laid out and right on the shores of Lake Michigan. We went for a walk down the "Magnificent Mile" (supposed to be the equivalent of 5th Ave in NYC - not quite as expensive though), we also stopped off at the Navy Pier and heard all about how engineers managed to reverse the flow of the river snaking through the city. Posted by Sam and Stacey @ 10:25 pm. Wednesday, August 23, 2006. My favo...
