The best news is that I'm done with the hardest of the chemo drugs, adriamycin, aka - the Red Devil. Yea! But now on to more exciting news. Monday, March 2, 2015. Starting the Second Quarter. Treatment #3 went fine. My sweet oncologist tried to be upbeat before this infusion and he mentioned that I was a quarter of the way through my treatment. It had the opposite affect as he intended, it totally sounded like I'd barely begun! March 2, 2015 at 11:08 AM. Oh my word, you are the best dressed chemo patient ever! Are you kidding me? Where were those when you were ordering shoes for me? Hows that for not talking about cancer? Hang in there Heidi!

Thursday, April 9, 2015. Spring Break and #Six Done! I forgot to take a picture last treatment but Matt snapped this one while I was sleeping. The Taxol that I receive in these treatments is notorious for causing allergic reactions so they give you an infusion on Benadryl before the other meds. it knocks me out! As I said before though, I'll take sleepiness over nausea any day! It was so wonderful to get away for some fun and feel normal for a while. Today was my 6th treatment. the end is in sight! Only ...
