Wednesday, February 19. New year. count it, 2014. 4 hours until the next tylenol, 102 fever, 2 days with fever. 5 days on tamiflu. 4 days. 3 days. 2 days. 1 days. Week and a half with cough. then piercing pain in my side. 3 ibuprofen, every 8 hours. 10ml robitussin, every 4 hours. 1 zpak every day. 5 days on zpak. 4 days. 3 days. 2 days. 1 day. 5 more days. 4 days. 3 days. 2 days. 1 day. 3 ibuprofen every 8 hours. 25 weeks done, 1.5 to go, until hopefully no more pain. Rest, rest, and more rest.

Wednesday, July 31. As for my grandma, the grieving now is softer and more gentle, but just as deep. One thought and there are tears in my eyes. I'm not sure this will ever change, and that's ok, and I'm not sure I want this to change. 365 days later. There is an upswing, there sure is. If I could go back, I would say to myself, make your decisions. It won't be easy, but you will see it through, and it will lead you to where you need to be. August 8, 2013 at 9:44 AM. Sunday, November 24. I've cried enough times to know how to make myself stop. To calm my mind. And i've lived enough. To know the dark eyes wide. And so when the light shines full on my face. It blinds and blinds and blind. And i take more than awhile. For the pupils to dilate to adjust to the light. That i am in the presence of the light. That the dark is gone. That there is shadow only behind. I know and i know and i know. And i plan and plan and plan plan. But in the end. I didn't even see the light.

Saturday, November 3. The seasons at this time of the year go from summer to winter very quickly- 80 degrees in the morning, 30 at night in one day, and then here we are, in the 40s, 50s, light jackets, gloves, scarves. I find myself putting on socks more often. Amidst the hustle, if there is a silence, a moment to myself, it takes only a thought and i am crying wholly for my grandma. I do not like the thought of Christmas and Thanksgiving without her, I do not like it one bit. November 3, 2012 at 1:18 PM.
