When's the Goat Coming?: The Kentish Soap Company
http://whensthegoatcoming.blogspot.com/2011/11/kentish-soap-company.html
When's the Goat Coming? Saturday, 26 November 2011. The Kentish Soap Company. I took it all along to a local Christmas fair last weekend and it went really well (much to my relief! I'm also doing party plan so my lovely, and very supportive, sister hosted a party for me last night which was a big success. I'm really happy with how everything is going so far, I have more parties and fairs booked and I've had loads of positive feedback. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. When's the Goat Coming?: Purple Soap
http://whensthegoatcoming.blogspot.com/2011/09/purple-soap.html
When's the Goat Coming? Wednesday, 7 September 2011. Haven't posted for ages, so I thought I'd show you my latest soap creation, it's purple (although the photo makes it look blue) and is scented with lavender essential oil. I managed to pick up some silicon bakeware cheap in TK max so I had to try them out. They worked really well, they withstand the heat and don't need lining. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). When's the Goat Coming?: First Duck Egg!
http://whensthegoatcoming.blogspot.com/2011/07/first-duck-egg.html
When's the Goat Coming? Wednesday, 27 July 2011. We got our first duck egg today. Emma thinks it was Alice (the White one) she has noticed a change in her recently. It is quite different from the chickens eggs, it's large, more rounded at the ends and its white but with an almost greenish tint to it. I think it may be a case of one fried egg cut into 4 later this evening! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Chickens in the Road. How to Make Croissants from Scratch.

When's the Goat Coming?: July 2010
http://whensthegoatcoming.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
When's the Goat Coming? Friday, 23 July 2010. I feel like I am finally making progress with the allotment. I have either cleared or covered all of the weedy areas and am keeping on top any new weeds with the hoe. It is starting to look tidy, well tidier. There has been a few failures, I had very patchy germination with my parsnips, there are a few growing but with big gaps in between. I've sewn some radishes in the gaps so as not to waste space. Monday, 12 July 2010. It's hard life being at uni isn't it!

When's the Goat Coming?: New additions
http://whensthegoatcoming.blogspot.com/2011/07/new-additions.html
When's the Goat Coming? Sunday, 3 July 2011. A couple of weeks ago my sister phoned and asked if I would go with her to pick up a couple of new hens to add to her flock. She had found a place on the Internet that is about half an hour away from me. I agreed but said that I wouldn't be buying any as the smallholders show at Ardingly was coming up and I wanted to buy some there. So one morning she picked me up, she also brought along her lovely friend Sally, who also keeps chickens and off we went. And wen...

When's the Goat Coming?: November 2010
http://whensthegoatcoming.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
When's the Goat Coming? Tuesday, 23 November 2010. A Few Set Backs. I haven't posted for a while again, we have had a few set backs in the last few weeks. Sadly our lovely ducks were taken by a fox, the latch on the run was broken, didn't fasten properly and we hadn't noticed. We were all very upset, especially Emma who had looked after them since they were babies. We have decided to beef up security over the winter and get some more in the spring, but we all miss them terribly. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

When's the Goat Coming?: April 2011
http://whensthegoatcoming.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
When's the Goat Coming? Tuesday, 19 April 2011. OK so I haven't posted any pictures for a while so I'm going to make up for it now. It has been all go in the garden for a couple of months now, we've had some unseasonably warm weather of late and living in England you never know how long it's going to last, so I've been working outside as much as is possible. Most of the lawn has been replaced with raised beds on one side and my mini forest garden on the other. I hate mowing the lawn! I particularly love ...

When's the Goat Coming? Thursday, 30 September 2010. Introducing the latest addition to our menagerie, Willow and Amber, 2 khaki campbell ducklings. We got them at the Edenbridge and Oxted Show in August when they were just 2 weeks old. They actually belong to Emma who has a thing for ducks! They are also very cute! The ducklings not the eggs! Wednesday, 22 September 2010. Can't believe that I haven't posted since July! I have been preserving as much as possible for the winter, our fruit trees are still ...

When's the Goat Coming?: Gardeners World Live
http://whensthegoatcoming.blogspot.com/2011/06/gardeners-world-live.html
When's the Goat Coming? Monday, 20 June 2011. We travelled to the Nec in Birmingham this weekend for gardeners world live. There were some really sweet show gardens and lots of shopping to be done. When we first started going to gardening shows you rarely saw a vegetable, but now they feature in nearly all the gardens. I bought a fig tree (I love figs) and some herbs for my forest border. And I saw Monty! 20 June 2011 at 16:51. Sounds great Jayne, shame it was not the lovely Alan Titchmarsh x. The Dobby'...
