They feel like they could have done something more. Maybe spend more time out in the community rather than binge-watching Netflix in their apartments. Maybe starting more projects or whatever. I still talk to many of my Albanian friends everyday. I have even received a few phone calls from them. Luckily A...Every...

Just FYI: I started traveling on June 5. And thus far I have been to Ljubljana, Bled, Budapest, Prague, Kutna Hora, and now Vienna. Tomorrow I’m off to Salzburg. Today, Jun...

Goodbyes are really hard, but I’m trying to think of these farewells more like a see you later situation. Reveries of a Peace Corps Volunteer. Why the Peace Corps? My Very Own Food Blog. One of the biggest adventures that Peace Corps Volunteers face is food. No matter where we are placed, we have to learn an entirely new diet which we often end up loving. The following slide show is a homage to the new, interesting, strange, and sometimes gross food that I regularly eat here in Albania. Click each image for more information. Whereas fast food is dominated by bryek, sufllaqe, and hamburgers, meals are all abo...

Reveries of a Peace Corps Volunteer. Why the Peace Corps? Why the Peace Corps? Deciding to do the Peace Corps is a big commitment. You agree to work in a different country for 27 months and have no control over what job you will get, what country you will go to, or even what city in that country you will be in.
