James S. Huggins' Multiple Sclerosis Pages
http://www.jamesshuggins.com/h/ms-1/multiple-sclerosis.htm
To learn the story of this graphic. This is the Multiple Sclerosis section of my website. And this page is the primary page of that section. Originally, all the information appeared on this one page. Because of size, I have split it into multiple pages. Complete navigation appears at the bottom of each page in this section. Before you go on to explore these pages, four quick minor points:. If you jumped into my site, directly to this page, please see the special note at the bottom. But I added this one.
Humor on the Refrigerator Door
http://www.jamesshuggins.com/h/hum1/humor.htm
Everyone likes to tell jokes. Everyone likes to hear them. And the internet has made it possible to retell a joke or humorous story to all your friends and actually get the punch line right. This page is the embarkation point for my small collection of humor. Addicted to the Net. I am not addicted! Some new business terms you might want to know. Actual excerpts, from actual church bulletins . . . maybe. Do you work for Corporate America today? Take this simple test and find out. Courses for Men and Women.
James S. Huggins' Refrigerator Door
http://www.jamesshuggins.com/h/old1/old-sections.htm
JRETIREDames S. Huggins'. Magnets pin them up for everyone to see. Quotes. Clippings. Cartoons. Phone numbers. Business cards. Family photos. Pets. Sketches we have made. Souvenirs of trips taken, sights seen and places been. Snippets of life, held on a refrigerator door. Step into any home. The refrigerator door reveals the personalities and peculiarities and particulars of the inhabitants. I am an eclecticist. I draw on a variety of disciplines, systems, talents, skills and experiences in my work.
Other Stuff on James S. Huggins' Refrigerator Door
http://www.jamesshuggins.com/h/oth1/other_stuff.htm
This page provides links to information that didn't fit into the other main categories (e.g., technology, humor, motivation). It isn't a slight of any kind to be in this section. It is only that these pages didn't exactly fit somewhere else. For example, my MIA pages are in this section. Some pages which used. To be in this section became so numerous they eventually received their own section. Both my Multiple Sclerosis section and my U-2 Spy Plane section started here.). A few of my personal favorites.
Books I Recommend
http://www.jamesshuggins.com/h/boo1/books.htm
Books I Recommend,. And One or Two I Don't. In my speaking, I continually reference and recommend books. Some are, naturally, about technology. Others, like the first those on this page by Nina Atwood and Peter Chantilis, have absolutely nothing to do with these topics -they are just books I recommend. Putting them on my website has made it easier for me and easier for everyone who had to call or write me to ask me again about a book I mentioned. At the bottom of the page. The Do Right Rules. Nina Atwood...
Links
http://www.jamesshuggins.com/h/lnk1/links.htm
This page has been added to serve as the basis for off-site links that don't need their own page. It also includes some affiliate programs that pay me when you sign up for something. (See below for my policy on affiliate programs.). Some sites offer a link exchange. If I'll link to them, they'll link to me. I don't do link exchanges. Want to know why? These are pages that I wanted to link but which had no other good spot on my site. My Journey By Chip Gerber. Pages Linking to Me. Mr Earl's RoadKill Kafe.
Motivation & Inspiration
http://www.jamesshuggins.com/h/mot1/motivation.htm
Being a professional speaker, I hear my share of motivational and inspirational stories. Being on the internet, I hear more than my share. The internet has made it possible to share that story someone sent to you with all your friends. This page is the embarkation point for my collection of motivational and inspirational stories. Best Things in Life. A list of the best things in life. A poem about the importance of family and friends. Send a friend a CyberHug. Hugs and Hope Club. Inspirations for the Day.
Hugginisms
http://www.jamesshuggins.com/h/bas1/hugginisms.htm
In addition to using quotes from others, I have created some of my own. My colleagues began calling these Hugginisms. They also used the term (Hugginism) to refer to sayings of others that I repeat often enough that they associate them with me, even though I am not the original author. I have posted some of them here. See Huggins' Big Rule. Big Ten-Four. A Hugginism. For yes; an expression of the affirmative. See also NGB. The problem with communication is the illusion that it happened. As soon as you ac...
Guestbook for James S. Huggins' Refrigerator Door
http://www.jamesshuggins.com/h/bas1/guestbook.htm
So many people kept writing me and asking me for a guestbook to sign, that I finally broke down and added one. Then after several years, Lycos stopped supporting these guestbooks and deleted all the ones that existed. So now I'm starting over in the guestbook area. To view it or sign it, just click on the link. LYCOS has abandoned it's support for their old simple free guestbook. This resulted in the loss of the posts of everyone who signed. I am working to add a new one to this site. How Old Are You?
Memberships --- Real Memberships, Advocacy and Participations
http://www.jamesshuggins.com/h/bas1/memberships.htm
I belong to some professional organizations. They require money, and dues. They have meetings and officers. Real organizations. Real memberships. I belong to some honorary organizations as well. Some require money and dues. Some do not. They are also real organizations with real memberships. I also support many causes. To be sure, some call people like me members but some are just loose federations of websites posting supporting buttons and banners. Except as explicitly noted, the use of logos, symbols a...
