A kevin wada art blog. Tuesday, November 29, 2011. Links to this post. Wednesday, November 23, 2011. These two were commissions I recently received for White Queen era Emma Frost, and Marvel Girl era Jean Grey. They were a lot of fun, though a lot of pressure as I would be sending off the originals which meant they had to be pristine and as I intended. No backup photoshop retouching at my disposal. Still, they were a lot of fun and I worked bigger than I normally do. Links to this post. Links to this post.

A kevin wada art blog. Monday, August 13, 2012. This will be the first of many and the original will also be available on my store for purchase. Prints my be available after the original goes. For now, I think I'll dub this series "Duets," and all the originals will be put up at my store. Any suggestions on who would make good pairs? As always, a remainder to retumble my images from my (not so) new tumblr. And check in to my store. Every now and then to see which new originals will be posted.

A kevin wada art blog. Monday, June 25, 2012. This piece, which has been dubbed X-Opera, will require some explanation. I see it as a spiritual "sister" piece to the. X-men do Vanity Fair. Very similar layout and feel - fashion editorial spread. It was commissioned for a client's boyfriend's birthday and the idea was simple: combine each boyfriend's major interests - in this case, opera and X-men. Let's break it down from left to right:. Jean Grey is sitting below Kitty, lush in a violet (she's Violetta ...

A kevin wada art blog. Friday, April 20, 2012. I'm very excited that I can finally post this piece that I've been sitting on for a few weeks now. Not literally, mind you, that would crush it. Broad shouldered fuzzy midrif sweaters and flared skirts. Socks with heels, anyone else remember that? Links to this post. Monet st. croix. My work tend...
